Hi, I'm Mayte (my-teh) Alquicira! My artistic journey began amidst the vibrant tapestry of Mexico.
From a young age, my inquisitive spirit was captivated by the world of art, and I consider myself fortunate to have been immersed in a rich blend of cultures and traditions. However, it was the kaleidoscope of colors that truly ignited my passion.
My quest for artistic growth led me to pursue a degree in Arts and Culture in Rome—a transformative experience that nourished my soul. It was there, through my senses, that I witnessed the mesmerizing convergence of bygone traditions and contemporary modernism. This enchanting interplay shaped the essence of my artistic expression.
Currently based in Dallas, I gracefully balance my time between my art business, my dedicated yoga practice, and my 9-5 profession. Creativity and strategic planning ignite a flame within me, and I am deeply grateful to engage in both
pursuits on a daily basis.

In the realm of the creative spirit, our minds are subject to an ever-changing atmospheric landscape. Within the vast expanse of our thoughts, storms of immense beauty and electrifying energy take shape.
These awe-inspiring
phenomena invigorate our beings, propelling us towards uncharted territories of
dreams and boundless ideas.
Yet, within this dynamic mental realm, we also encounter storms of a different nature—ominous clouds that cast a pall of uncertainty, evoking a sense of
descent into the abyss of desolation. These disquieting moments, shrouded in shades of gray, threaten to consume our very essence.
However, amidst this ceaseless ebb and flow, there exists a timeless thread that binds the synapses of our consciousness: change. It is a potent force, woven into the fabric of our existence, bestowing upon us the remarkable ability to forge new neural pathways at will.
